The university provides financial assistance to deserving and struggling students. Scholarships at Delhi University are available in the form of one-time grants, monthly/ annual stipends, prizes, and remission of tuition fees. Scholarships from several departments and universities affiliated with DU are available, with amounts ranging from INR 25,000 to INR 100 per month.
Also, Delhi University provides other scholarships based on courses and categories. SOL DU Merit-Based and Need-Based Scholarship:
Delhi University provides scholarship to its students with a range of need- and merit-based. Candidates who are financially disadvantaged but achieve academically are awarded this scholarship by Delhi University.

- Delhi University offers merit-based scholarships to candidates with superior aggregate grade point averages from previous academic years. Each month, the candidates would receive INR 3,000.
- Delhi University Sports Scholarship: Candidates who compete in intercollegiate sports on behalf of Delhi University this scholarship is available for them. The maximum monthly payment for candidates under this scholarship is INR 2,000.
- DU Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Scholarship: Applicants must fall under the EWS Category in order to be eligible for this scholarship. Applicants for this scholarship can expect to receive up to INR 1500 per month.
