For all UG and PG programs, SLC admissions in 2024 will be determined by the results of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), administered by the National Test Agency (NTA).
Candidates must appear for CUET UG for all UG programs, while those who want to be admitted to PG programs must appear for CUET PG.
After passing the CUET UG exam, candidates must register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) in order to be considered for UG admissions. The institute's merit list will be used for PG admissions, or admissions would be made based on both entrance and merit. The registration process for all UG and PG programs will begin on Delhi University's admission portal, admission.uod.ac.in, following the release of the CUET results. Subsequently, candidates will need to indicate their program and college preferences.
50% of the total intake for PG admission will go to students with a bachelor's degree from Delhi University based on their standing in the qualifying test, with the remaining 50% of spots being filled based on the candidate's score in the CUET PG exam.
Additionally, 50% of the seats at Shyam Lal College (SLC) are set aside for students who fall under the categories of SC, ST, OBC, EWS, or PwD.
