Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University provides important support and facilities to its students. The university has its own 8 regional centers in Maharashtra. Regional Centers
The university has established eight Regional Centers in Nashik, Mumbai, Pune, Amravati, Nanded, Nagpur, Aurangabad, and Kolhapur, one in each Maharashtra area, to provide quality learning support to students while also co-coordinating and supervising the work of the Study Centers in the region.
- Physical infrastructure: The university's jurisdiction includes eight regional centers. Three of the eight regional centers, located in Amravati, Aurangabad, and Nanded, have their own buildings, while the remaining five are housed in space supplied by traditional universities.
- Human Support: Each Regional Centre has a Regional Director and support staff such as an Assistant Registrar, Section Officer, Senior Assistant, Junior Assistant, and Driver who assist with the day-to-day operations of the Regional Centre.
- University Vehicle: Each Regional Centre is also given a dedicated truck for speedy material delivery to study centers under its control, as well as for supervising and monitoring activities.

Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) provides self learning or e-learning materials for its students. Library and Resource Centre (LARC)
Library and Resource Centre (LARC) of Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University established with the establishment of the University. The Library and Resource Centre (LARC) is playing an important role in fulfilling the objectives of YCMOU.
- Support the academic activities of in-house academics and external experts by providing knowledge sources for the creation of learning materials.
- Support YCMOU students' reference and information needs by establishing an adequate facility at headquarters.
- Provide papers, as well as comprehensive reference and information services in the field of open and distance education, to other distance education institutes in the state.
- Provide help to the University's LIS Programme Coordinators.
Sports and Cultural Cum Students Activities
In order to promote personality development as well as academic careers and sports and cultural activities among students, this university arranges different regional and state-level competitive events through its Students Welfare Centre. The winning students will then represent this university in the state-level INDRADHANUSHYA and ASHVMEDH competitions.
This university has created particular financial provisions for such athletic and cultural programs. This includes the students' travel and food, uniforms, and practice session expenditures.
Sports Activities
Every year, the university hosts sports meets. The University's eight Regional Centers organize regional sports meetings, and students from study centers in the corresponding region compete in these regional level sports tournaments.
- Following the end of the regional level tournaments, the students from the eight regions who excelled in the regional level tournaments compete in the University's sports meet.
- Every year, students who perform well at the university level compete in the All India Association of Universities competition and the State level Inter-University tournament 'Ashwamedh'.
Cultural Activities
- Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University’s students have enough possibilities to showcase their talents through cultural activities.
- Every year, youth festivals are held in eight Regional Centers to give them a platform to showcase their skills and art.
- Students from the respective regions' Study Centres engage in programs such as One Act Play, Folk Dance, Singing, Fine Arts, and so on.
