The University will release the AP ICET 2025 cut off of the official website. The Cutoff will be released after the completion of the counselling process. The cutoff is the minimum qualifying mark required by the candidates for admission to the participating institutes.
The cutoff will also include the ranks obtained by the candidates in the entrance examination. The exam authorities will consider factors like availability of seats, previous year’s cutoff trends, total marks, difficulty level of the exam and more while preparing for the cutoff.
How to download AP ICET cutoff
The candidates should have follow the below mentioned steps to download the cutoff
- Visit the official website of the University.
- Go through the cut-off section, and click on the “Cut off marks” tab on the website homepage.
- Choose the year and select the engineering discipline or subject for which the required cut-off marks.
- Once you select the appropriate options, click on the download button.
- After downloading the PDF, save it
Cutoff determining factors

- Difficulty level of admission

AP ICET Marks Normalisation Process (Simplified):
The purpose of the normalisation process is to ensure fairness for candidates who had a tougher exam paper compared to others. This process helps to rank candidates based on overall performance. Similar methods are used in exams like CAT, JEE (Main), and GATE. The committee has decided on the following steps for normalisation:
SMS: Average marks plus standard deviation of the candidate's session.
GMS: Average marks plus standard deviation of all candidates across all sessions.
Top Average Session: The average marks of the top 0.1% of candidates in the candidate's session.
Top Average Global: The average marks of the top 0.1% of candidates across all sessions.
