The Assam Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) is administered by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Assam. A state-level admission test known as the Assam PAT 2024 is given once a year. The test is required for admission to a number of three-year engineering and technology diploma programs offered by Assamese polytechnic institutions.
The Assam PAT 2024 test will be administered offline using an OMR sheet and a black ballpoint pen. It will have multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Examiners will allow candidates two hours in total to finish the test. The PAT 2024 paper for Assam will be split into two sections: Science and Mathematics

Assam PAT 2025 Eligibility

Candidates should be aware that they can only appear in the Assam PAT 2025 entrance exam if they meet the requirements for eligibility. Candidates should carefully review the qualifying requirements before completing the application.
- The candidate must not be a permanent resident of Assam. The wards of employees who are posted in Assam for less than 20 years before the last date of submitting application are eligible to apply.
- The educational qualification for the Assam PAT are 40% of average marks in mathematics and science for general candidates, 35% of average marks in mathematics and science- for SC candidates and 33% of average marks in mathematics and science - for ST candidates.
- Maximum age of the candidates is 20 years 6 months as on 31st day of December of the year in which the admission is sought for.

Assam PAT 2025 Admit Card
Candidates should have downloaded the hall ticket from the official website of the university. To download the admit card, candidates should have to enter their registered email ID and password that was generated during the registration process.
Candidates have to carry a print copy of the hall ticket along with two passport-size recent color photographs at the exam center on the day of the exam.
