The subjects, grading system, and entrance exam format are all included in the CAT 2025 exam pattern. The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) administer the Common Admission Test (CAT), a national level management admission exam, on a rotating basis.
The scores of CAT are accepted by 20 IIMs as well as 100 B-schools of India. According to this year's timetable, the CAT exam will take place in the fourth week of November 2025.

- Exam Mode: The computer-based exam, or CAT, will be administered in 156 cities.
- Sections: The Common Admission Test will comprise three sections, i.e. Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning & Quantitative Ability.
- Type of Questions: There are both multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and non-MCQ questions on the question paper.
