If two or more candidates obtain similar scores in IGNOU B.Ed. entrance test, the following tie-breaking policy will be implemented:

  1. Students who have obtained above 50% in their PG curriculum are given 2 marks.
  2. Candidates who have scored above 50% in their UG curriculum are given 1 mark.
  3. Thirdly, candidates with maximum scores will be considered.
  4. Fourthly, as per the age limit, older age candidates will be considered for merit.
