The NMAT Cutoff 2025 is the minimum score or rank required to get admission to MBA courses in colleges that accept NMAT scores. Based on past trends, the NMAT cutoff for top institutes like NMIMS Mumbai is expected to be 235+ marks with a 98-99 percentile, while for NMIMS Bangalore, it may be around 220+ marks with a 91-94 percentile. Similarly, NMIMS Hyderabad is likely to have a cutoff of 200+ marks with an 85-90 percentile, and NMIMS Navi Mumbai may require 210+ marks with a 90-92 percentile. Every year, these cutoffs are decided based on factors like the number of students who apply, the number of students who pass the exam, how difficult the exam was, and the number of available seats. Students who score equal to or above the cutoff can get admission to these colleges. However, some colleges may not share their cutoff scores. NMAT 2025 Selection Process
The NMAT selection process for admission through NMAT includes Group Discussion (GD) or Case Discussion (CD), a Personal Interview (PI), and a Written Ability Test (WAT). The participating institutes conduct these rounds individually and according to their respective admission schedules.
Group Discussion:
In the Group Discussion (GD) round of the NMAT selection process, candidates are divided into groups of 7-10 members. Each group is given a topic to discuss.
or
Case Discussion:
Some institutes conduct a Case Discussion round instead of a Group Discussion round. If students need to appear for the Case Discussion round, they should know that it is similar to preparing for a GD round but slightly different. In this round, candidates will be given a case to discuss. They are expected to make at least 2-3 meaningful points within about 15 minutes.
Personal Interview:
The Personal Interview round follows the GD round. In this round, candidates are interviewed by members of the B-School’s internal selection committee and independent field experts. The panel will ask questions related to management, current affairs, and global events.
Written Ability Test:
Many NMAT accepting colleges conduct a Written Ability Test along with the GD and PI round during the NMAT selection process. In this test, candidates will be assessed on their writing and communication skills. The selection committee assigns a topic to write on within 15-20 minutes.
The following factors are considered during the final selection of candidates for NMAT 2025 admissions to the management program:
- NMAT 2025 score
- Personal Interview
- Group Discussion
- Academic record
- Work Experience
- Academic/Gender diversity
