Only those who fulfill the standards stated by NID are eligible to complete the application. If they pass their senior secondary exam, prospective candidates are eligible to take the NID exam. To prepare for the exam, they must study according to the NID syllabus. In March 2025, the authority will hold an offline NID 2025 exam. Candidates for admission to the various courses offered at institutes. What is NID??

The National Institute of Design (NID) Exam is an entrance test for admission to design programs at the National Institutes of Design in India. NID 2025 Eligibility Criteria

  1. Nationality: Indian National citizens will be eligible to apply.

  3. Age Limit: For Indian (general & general EWS category), one must be born on or after 1st July 2004
  4. For Indian Reserved (OBC-NCL, ST & SC Category), one must be born on or after 1st July 2001
  5. For PwD Category, one must be born on or after 1st July 1999
  6. For Foreign in Overseas Category, one must be born on or after 1st July 2004

For M.Des:

  1. Nationality: Indian National citizens will be eligible to apply.
  2. Qualification: Student must be graduated in 4 year duration (OR)
  3. 4 Year diploma courses in Design/ Applied Arts/ Fine Arts/ Architecture, after 12th or equivalent to 12th standard from a university or institute recognised by law in India (OR)
  4. Graduation degree of 3 year duration in any stream.
  5. Age Limit: For Indian (general & general EWS category), one must be born on or after 1st July 1993
  6. For Indian Reserved (OBC-NCL, ST & SC Category), one must be born on or after 1st July 1990
  7. For PwD Category, one must be born on or after 1st July 1988
  8. For Foreign in Overseas Category, one must be born on or after 1st July 1993

NID 2025 Registration

The NID 2025 registration process is expected to begin in the second week of September 2025 and will be conducted online. Here are the steps to register NID 2025 :

  3. Fill basic & communication details in the application form
  4. Also enter qualification & other asked details in the form.
  5. ProNID to upload passport size photograph & signature in prescribed format

NID Merit List

NID 2025 Cut Off Authorities will release the NID 2025 cut off through online mode. Cut off marks are minimum marks required to qualify examination.
