The Government of India established NIPERs as “Institutes of National Importance’, through an Act of Parliament and the Centre of Excellence for providing higher education, research, and development in pharmaceutical sciences, medical devices, and management.
The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Guwahati, conducts the NIPER JEE exam for admission in Masters in Pharmacy and 249 PhD programs. This exam is conducted computer-based.

- The online application for NIPER JEE 2025 will be started in the 3rd week of April 2025.
- The online application will be closed on the 3rd week of May 2025.
- Admit cards will be available for NIPER JEE 2025 in the last week of June 2025.
- The examination will be held in the 2nd week of June 2025.
- The result will be announced in the last week of July 2025.
- The NIPER will start counselling sessions in the 2nd week of July 2025.
