- A minimum aggregate of 45% marks is required for General category candidates; 42% for OBC; and 40% for SC/ST candidates.
TG LAWCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria for 3-Year LLB Course
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for the 3-Year LLB Course through TS LAWCET 2025 can apply and secure admission to law colleges. The eligibility criteria for the 3-Year LLB Course are as follows:
- Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- General category candidates need at least 45% marks; OBC candidates require 42%; and SC/ST candidates need 40%.
TS LAWCET Age Limit 2025
There is no upper age limit for candidates applying for either the 3-year or 5-year LLB courses.
TS LAWCET Nationality and Domicile 2025
- Citizenship: Applicants must be citizens of India and residents of Telangana state.
- Domicile: Candidates should satisfy the local/non-local status requirements as defined by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).
TG LAWCET 2025 General Eligibility
- Candidates appearing in their final year examinations are eligible to apply, provided they submit proof of passing the qualifying examination at the time of counselling.
- Applicants who have completed their degrees through open universities or in a single sitting without completing a three-year course are not eligible.
- Candidates with passing marks of 44.5% or more (for general), 41.5% or more (for OBC), and 39.5% or more (for SC/ST) will have their marks rounded off to 45%, 42%, and 40% respectively.

The minimum qualifying marks for the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) 2025 are 35% (i.e. 42 marks out of 120) for general and OBC category candidates. There are no minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST/PWD category candidates.
