Air Force Common Admission Test Application Process

The Indian Air Force (IAF) plans to release the AFCAT 2 application form 2025 in May 2025. Only online applications will be accepted for the AFCAT 2 2025 examination. The application form is now available, along with the AFCAT announcement for 2025. After the form filling process is completed, the window to update the AFCAT 2 application form 2025 will be available. The AFCAT application price was INR 550, including GST taxes. The application fees are consistent across different categories.

AFCAT 2025 Application Process Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, candidates must meet the qualifying requirements listed below.

Nationality: Must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit:

• Flying Branch: Aged 20 to 24 as of January 1, 2026 (born between January 2, 2002 and January 1, 2006).
• Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical): 20 to 26 years as of January 1, 2026.

Educational Qualification:

• Flying Branch requires a minimum of 60% in Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level.
• Ground Duty (Technical): B.E./B.Tech degree with at least 60%.
• Ground Duty (Non-Technical): Graduation with at least 60%

Step 1: Account Creation

• Visit the AFCAT's official website.
• Click "Candidate Login" and then "New Registration".
• Enter basic information (name, date of birth, email, and mobile number).
• Create a password and complete the verification process.

Step 2: Fill out the application form.

• Log in using the registered credentials.
• Fill out your personal information (name, DOB, nationality, category, etc.).
• Provide academic credentials and any pertinent information.

Step 3: Upload Documents

• Photograph: A recent passport-size photo (JPEG, 10-50 KB).
• Signature: scanned signature (JPEG, 10-50 KB).
• Thumb Impression: Left thumb impression (10-50 KB JPEG).

Step 4: Payment Process

• Choose your payment method (credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI).
• Complete the purchase and download the payment receipt.

AFCAT 2025 Admit Card 

The AFCAT admission card is a required document; without it, candidates are unable to take the exam. The AFCAT call letter includes information such as the candidate's name, roll number, date of birth, exam day, shift timing, and AFCAT exam center. Candidates must bring a printed copy of their admit cards and one photo-identity proof to the exam centre. Candidates must preserve their admission cards safely until the recruiting process is over.

The steps for downloading the admission card are as follows:

• Candidates should check the official website.
• To download the admit card, click 'Candidate's Login'.
• The login page opens.
• Enter the username and password.
• The admit card is displayed on the screen.
• Download the AFCAT admit card and print it out.
