The UPSC Age Limit 2025 is an essential criterion for candidates aspiring to take the exam. According to the rules set by the UPSC, candidates must be at least 21 years old and no older than 32 years as of August 1, 2025.

For UPSC Prelims and Mains 2025, candidates generally should cover at least 1.5 to 2 years of current affairs. This includes events and developments from January 2023 to May 2025.

UPSC 2025 Exam prelims will be in MCQ format. Candidates will have to attempt two papers: General Studies and CSAT. The marks scored in only the General Studies paper will be considered for qualification for mains. The candidates must secure a fixed cutoff of 66.66 marks on the CSAT paper.
