MBBS is a five-and-a-half-year undergraduate course that consists of a year of compulsory internship at the end of the medical education. MBBS Admission in Kerala 2025

Admission to the MBBS course at Government Medical College, Kozhikode is done against under state quota (85) and All India Quota (15). The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, controls the state counseling, whereas the central quota is controlled by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). As the process is outlined below:

Step 1:

To begin with, the applicants are expected to present themselves in the NEET UG examination administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA). They have to access the official NEET website, fill out the application form by providing relevant personal and academic data, attach documents and submit the application fee online.

Step 2:

After this, the candidates must take the NEET UG exam on the specified date. Instructions during the exam day must be adhered to strictly, and the admit card plus a valid ID proof need to be taken to the examination center.

Step 3:

After the declaration of NEET UG results, the candidates are then advised to access the score card online on the NTA portal. Step 4:

Step 5:

Step 6:

CEE Kerala shall then do online seat allotment depending upon the rank in NEET UG, category, reservation guidelines, and options filled. The outcome of the seat allotment will be placed on the official website.

Step 7:

If allotted a seat at GMC Kozhikode, candidates must confirm their admission by paying the seat acceptance fee within the given deadline.

Step 8:

Candidates must report physically to Government Medical College, Kozhikode, carrying all original documents for verification. These include Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, NEET scorecard, allotment letter, domicile certificate, category certificate (if applicable), and ID proof.

Step 9:

Upon successful verification, the final admission and tuition fees are to be paid as per the college’s fee structure. Candidates will then receive an admission confirmation, and the academic session will commence as per the official schedule of the institution.
