The MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery) is an undergrad program (inclusive of internship), which is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC), and includes studies that can take approximately five and half years. The programme of study also encompasses Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology and Clinical Rotations.

 

To get admitted to MBBS colleges in Rajasthan, the students are required to qualify NEET UG which is organized by NTA. All the (Government + Private) MBBS Programmes seats are offered on the basis of either: State Quota Counselling (85%) conducted by SMS Medical College, Jaipur (on Rajasthan domicile basis) All India Quota (15%) counseling conducted by MCC.

Rajasthan MBBS Admission Eligibility Criteria

To become eligible candidates for Rajasthan MBBS admission, the following criteria have to be met:

  • Having passed 10+2 or equivalent and including subjects in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English with an aggregate of 50% and above (40 % in case of SC/ST/OBC, 45% in case of PH).
  • The candidate should not be less than 17 years of age.
  • The score in NEET UG 2025 must be valid and must meet the minimum domicile requirements of Rajasthan (85 % state quota).
  • One parent of the candidate at least ought to be a resident of the Rajasthan State over the past 10 years, and the candidate him/herself should have the experience of studying in the state for at least 5 years.

Rajasthan MBBS Admission Process

The admission process for MBBS program at Rajasthan is listed below:

 

Step 1: Candidates shall participate in the NEET UG entrance examination and also make sure that he or she scores the minimum qualifying marks in case of admission to MBBS in Rajasthan.

 

Step 2: With NEET results announced, the candidates should apply online through the official website by providing the personal, academic high school, and NEET details.

Step 8: At last, the candidates were expected to report to the assigned medical college and produce all their original documents to verify and complete the rest of the admission procedures and get the admission letter and proceed with the academic session according to the university calendar.
