CDS 2025 exam 1 admit card will be released on April 6, 2025. Students appearing for exam 2, can download their respective admit cards on September 7, 2025. The admit card is one of the essential documents to be carried on CDS 2025 exam day. Steps to Download CDS 2025 Admit Card
Students can only download the respective admit cards from the official portal. The step-wise procedure for obtaining CDS 2025 admit card on April 6th and September 7th, 2025 are:
Step 1: Visit the official website, viz., upsconline.nic.in
Step 2: Search and click on the link stating “E-Admit Cards for Various Examinations of UPSC”.
Step 3: Enter registration ID or roll number, and date of birth. Fill in the captcha image as displayed.
Step 4: Download admit cards in the form of PDF and take a printout of the same.

CDS 2025 Exam Day Instructions
Candidates must abide by the below-mentioned instructions on CDS 2025 exam day:
- Report to the CDS test center at least 1 hour before the exam commences
- Students must carry a clipboard with nothing written on it, and a black ballpoint pen.
- Candidates will be provided with separate answer sheets for doing all the rough work.
- Students must not carry any log tables, books, smartwatches, mobile phones, calculators, etc. inside the premises.
- Write the name, roll number, and subject code in appropriate places.
- Should not leave the allotted seat till the exam ends and without handing over the answer booklet or OMR sheet to the respective invigilators.
