The admit cards were made available for download on November 15, 2024. The CLAT 2025 exam was conducted in an offline, pen-and-paper format on December 1, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. CLAT 2025 Application Fee

How to fill CLAT Registration Form 2025?

Here's a detailed step-by-step guide to help you through the CLAT 2025 application process:

Step 1: Registration

• Visit the Official Website: Go to the CLAT Consortium's official website: consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
• Create an Account: Click on the registration link for CLAT 2025. Provide your personal mobile number and email ID. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number for verification. After verification, you'll receive login credentials.

Step 2: Filling the Application Form

• Personal Information: Log in using your credentials and fill in your personal details, including your name (as per official documents), parents' names, date of birth, and nationality.
• Communication Details: Enter your permanent and correspondence addresses along with your contact information.
• Educational Qualifications: Provide details of your educational background, such as the name of the institution, board, year of passing, and marks obtained.
• Reservation Category: If applicable, select your reservation category (e.g., SC/ST/OBC/PWD) and upload the relevant certificates in PDF format.
• Test Centre Preference: Choose up to three preferred test cities in order of preference. The allotment will be based on availability.

Step 3: Uploading Documents

• Photograph: Upload a recent front-facing passport-sized photograph with a plain background.
• Signature: Upload a scanned copy of your signature.
• Category Certificate: If applicable, upload the category certificate (SC/ST/OBC) issued by the competent authority.
• PWD Certificate: If applying under the PWD category, upload the relevant certificate.
• BPL Certificate: If you belong to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category, upload the necessary documentation.

Ensure all documents are in PDF format and adhere to the specified size and format requirements.

Step 4: Application Fee Payment

The application fee is payable online through net banking, credit card, or debit card. Bank transaction charges will be additional and displayed during the payment process. The fee is non-refundable.

• SC/ST/BPL/PWD candidates: ₹3,500
• Cost of previous years' question papers (optional): ₹500

• Submit: Once verified, submit the application form. After submission and payment, no changes can be made to the program, category, and BPL fields. It's advisable to submit the form well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.

List of Documents Required for CLAT 2025 Application Form 

To successfully complete the CLAT 2025 application process, ensure you have the following documents ready:

Recent Passport-Sized Photograph

• A front-facing, recent passport-sized photograph with a plain background.
• The photograph should be in JPEG/JPG or PNG format, with a file size between 20 KB to 50 KB and dimensions of 200 x 230 pixels.

Signature

• A scanned copy of your signature on white paper using a black ink pen.
• The signature file should be in JPEG/JPG or PNG format, with a file size between 10 KB to 20 KB and dimensions of 140 x 60 pixels.

Category Certificate (if applicable)

• If applying under SC/ST/OBC categories, upload the relevant certificate issued by a competent authority.
• The certificate should be in PDF format, not exceeding 1.5 MB in size.

PwD Certificate (if applicable)

• Candidates applying under the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category must provide a valid certificate issued by a competent authority.
• Ensure the certificate is in PDF format, within the specified size limit.

Below Poverty Line (BPL) Certificate (if applicable)

• Applicants falling under the BPL category should submit the relevant certificate issued by the competent authority.
• The document should be uploaded in PDF format.

Educational Certificates

• Class 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates.
• Graduation mark sheet and certificate (if applicable).

Identification Proof

• A valid ID proof such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Driving License.

Address Proof

• Proof of residence, which could be the same as your ID proof if it includes your address.

Domicile Certificate (if applicable)

• If you're applying under a domicile/resident category seat, provide the relevant certificate.

NRI/NRI Sponsored Certificate (if applicable)

• Candidates applying under the NRI/NRI Sponsored category should submit the necessary certificate.

Additional Notes

• Ensure all scanned documents are clear and legible.
• The photograph and signature do not need to be attested.
• Original certificates/documents issued by the competent authority are to be submitted to the allotted university at the time of admission.

CLAT 2025 Application Correction Window

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 application correction window was open from October 18 to October 25, 2024. During this period, candidates had the opportunity to modify specific details in their application forms, including:

• Test Centre Preferences
• Personal Information: Name, date of birth, and reservation category
• Program Applied For: Undergraduate (UG) or Postgraduate (PG)

Steps to Recover CLAT 2025 Login Password

To recover your CLAT 2025 login password, follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the Official CLAT Website

Go to the official CLAT website (https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/).

Step 2: Locate the 'Login' Section

On the homepage, look for the “Login” section, typically found in the top-right corner. Click on it to open the login page.

Step 3: Click on 'Forgot Password' Link

On the login page, you will see an option that says "Forgot Password?" or "Reset Password." Click on this link.

Step 4: Enter Your Registered Details

You will be prompted to provide certain information to verify your identity. This typically includes:

• Your registered email address (the one used for CLAT registration).
• Your mobile number (if required, this may be the one registered during your application).
• Application number or username (which was generated when you applied for CLAT).

Ensure that the details you provide match the ones you used when you initially registered.

Step 5: Receive Password Reset Instructions

Once you've submitted the necessary details, you will receive an email (or SMS, depending on the instructions) containing the password reset link or a temporary password.

Step 6: Click on the Reset Link

Check your inbox (and spam folder) for the email. Open it and click on the password reset link. If you received a temporary password, use that to log in directly.

Step 7: Set a New Password

After clicking the reset link, you will be redirected to a page where you can set a new password. Choose a strong password that you can easily remember.

Password guidelines:

• Minimum 8 characters.
• Must contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character.

Step 8: Confirm the New Password

Enter the new password again to confirm it and click on the “Submit” or “Save” button.

Step 9: Login Using Your New Password

Once your password has been reset successfully, go back to the login page and use your new credentials to access your CLAT account.

Step 10: Update and Secure Your Account

For security reasons, make sure you update your account recovery options, such as email and phone number, to avoid similar issues in the future. Also, ensure that your new password is stored safely and is not easily guessed.
