Every year, the Council of Architecture (CoA) administers the NATA test to candidates hoping to get into one of the several architecture universities' four-year or five-year B. Plan or B. Arch programs. If candidates want to do an architecture course, they must meet the requirements of the NATA architecture test in order to be eligible for the entrance exam.
NATA Age Limit 2025
- The NATA exam eligibility age limit states that there is no minimum age requirement to take the exam.
- Candidates must, however, abide by any specific age restrictions that the relevant counseling/admittance authority may specify. Any age restriction imposed by the admissions committee may need to be registered.
- Make sure candidates meet the necessary requirements for the NATA exam eligibility before completing the NATA Application Form 2025.
NATA Educational Qualification 2025
- It is no longer necessary to fill in the total marks and obtained marks for class 10. Instead, you must have passed the 10+2 level or its equivalent from an accredited board, or you must have taken the 10+3 Diploma Examination with mathematics as a required subject. It is optional to provide this specific information while applying for the NATA 2025 Entrance Exam.
- The form's Total Marks and Obtained Marks columns are optional because grades on 10th grade grade cards are difficult to get.
- Candidates may apply for the NATA 2025 exam if they have passed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2), Diploma (10+3), or comparable exam with 50% of the possible points in any stream from the Central or State Government, with mathematics being a required subject.
Qualifying Marks
- The Union Education Minister and the CoA have announced a relaxation of the minimum marks requirement for BArch admissions in 2025.
The minimal score needed in prior years is listed in the table below:
Exam | Minimum marks | Sub(Compulsory) | Status |
---|---|---|---|
10+2 | 50% | Mathematics | Passes/appearing |
10+3 | 50% | Mathematics | Passes/appearing |
International Baccalaureate Diploma | 50% | Mathematics | Passes/appearing |
NATA Eligibility 2025 for International Students and Non-Resident Individuals The NATA qualifying criteria for students with international or non-resident Indian status are the same as those for Indian nationals. There are no special requirements for NATA, only international and non-resident candidates who wish to take the NATA Exam in 2025.
Other Important Eligibility Criteria for NATA
- In the 10+2 Level/10+3 Diploma, candidates who fall under the SC, ST, OBC-NCL Category, or PWD (Person with Disability) categories would receive 5% of the total aggregate as well as PCM.
- International Baccalaureate diplomas that have been passed or appear after ten years of education, with mathematics being a required subject in the exam, and with an aggregate score of 50%, are also qualified for NATA.
- There will be no changes to the eligibility for the NATA entrance exam for applicants who fall under any of the special categories (SC, ST, OBC, or any other).
- When applying for admission under different admission agencies, applicants may inquire about reservation schemes.
