National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA-2025)

The NATA 2025 syllabus is released by the Council of Architecture (CoA) in its official brochure. The exam schedule will also be made available on their website. Thus, prospective students must keep checking for updates on NATA application forms, admit cards, and other related materials.

The computer-based test (CBT) format of the exam will have portions on verbal reasoning, diagrammatic reasoning, logical reasoning, and general aptitude. In the aptitude section, your verbal, mathematical, and sketching skills will be assessed.

Study time can be maximized by concentrating on important exam topics by being familiar with the NATA 2025 syllabus.

The General Aptitude Syllabus for NATA 2025

A total of 125 questions in four different formats are included in the NATA aptitude test: multiple-choice (MCQ), multiple select (MSQ), preferential choice (PCQ), and numerical answer (NAQ). It is advised to solve past years' papers in order to have a sense of the exam's complexity and question kinds.

The following subjects are included in the general aptitude section:

  1. Diagrammatic Reasoning: Assessing logical reasoning using diagrams and scenarios
  2. Numerical Reasoning: Testing mathematical ability through simple problems
  3. Verbal Reasoning: Evaluating the ability to analyze verbal logic
  4. Inductive Reasoning: Testing pattern recognition and data analysis skills
  5. Situational Judgment: Assessing problem-solving abilities
  6. Logical Reasoning: Recognizing patterns, sequences, or relationships between shapes and imagery
  7. Abstract Reasoning: Assessing general knowledge and application in new contexts.
