Rajshahi University Entrance Test (RUET-2025)

RUET exam conducted by Rama University, Kanpur, and Hapur Campus is a test held for UG, PG, and PhD admissions offline. It has 120 questions in the form of multiple choice, where there is no negative marking. The test time is 2 hours for UG and PG and 3 hours for PhD programs. The paper is divided into General English, General Knowledge & Numerical Ability, and Subject Ability. The syllabus is based on Class 10th, 11th, and 12th topics for UG and PG programs. RUET 2025 Exam Pattern in Detail

• Exam Sections: RUET 2025 has three sections: General English, General Knowledge & Numerical Ability, and Subject Ability.
• Weightage: Total marks are 120, and these are distributed across the sections.
• Common & Specific Parts: The first two parts are common to all applicants, while the third part is program-specific.
• Mode: The test is offline computer-free and given as a paper-and-pencil test.
• Answering Format: Candidates should answer on an OMR sheet.
• The exam tests the knowledge of the subject, general awareness, numerical skills, and language proficiency.

RUET 2025 Marking Scheme

The RUET 2025 test paper will consist of 3 sections. No. The questions are the same in the first 2 sections, A & B, and in the C section, there are more questions than that in Sections A & B, and subsequently, the weightage given to the sections is also different.

Every question will have one mark for a correct answer. There is no Negative Marking Scheme.

RUET 2025 Exam Day Important Instructions

Instruction for Answer Sheet

• The applicant will open the sealed answer sheet when the invigilator asks to open the sealed answer sheet.
• The answer sheet (OMR sheet) has space to write upon the applicant's details. Applicants first fill in the particulars and should darken the circles on the answer sheet.
• Applicants must use a Blue or Black Ball Pen only in the RUET exam.
• As OMR Answer Sheets are available, candidates are supposed to fill in the mandatory details initially by carefully reading all the instructions provided.
• The time starts of RUET is exactly as mentioned, and will also be informationrmed by the invigilator
• RUET will be conducted for 2 hours duration
• The weightage for all the questions will be the same.
• The question paper will be of objective type, in which four options will be given, and multiple choice select answer methods will be there in the question paper. This means the correct answer to any question may be more than 1 option.
• For each question, one or more correct responses might be there out of the four responses given.
• At the time of the exam, the invigilator will examine and authenticate the applicant's identity, and after being satisfied with his / her identity, he / she shall put a signature on the answer sheet. Applicants should bring on demand at any time during the exam an admit card along with identity proof.
• Applicants should bring their own stationery, which is required for the examination. The RAMA UNIVERSITY/ examination center will not supply the same.
• The answer sheet contains an attached carbon copy. Applicants must make careful marks on the answer sheet so that the impression on carbon copy appears correctly. This carbon copy is for applicants to keep it with a question booklet to take home after the RUET exam for the reference purpose.
• No other mark, and no rough calculation in the OMR answer sheet can be done, which also has been written on the back of the OMR answer sheet. And at the time of verification, it may get discarded
• The OMR answer sheet should not be folded, keep it as a shape as it has provided.
• Make sure that the OMR Answer Sheet circles are not darkened lightly or faintly and may be rejected by the Optical Scanner while checking answers on OMR Answer Sheet. So, follow the instructions to darken the circle as it should be darkened properly.
• Applicants are advised to check whether the Test-booklet consists of 120 questions in sequence and also match and verify the serial number and series of the Test Booklet with the serial number and series of the OMR answer sheet. In case of any discrepancies, the applicant should bring it to the notice of the invigilator. In such a case, the Test Booklet and OMR answer sheet will be replaced with a new set of Test Booklet and OMR answer sheets of a similar series.
• Applicants will have to sign on the Attendance Sheet as well as on the OMR answer sheet.
• Applicants will also have to make a left-hand thumb impression at the appropriate place on the attendance sheet.
• Applicants must abide by all Rules and Regulations of the Rama University about their conduct in the Examination Hall. Breaching the rules will be treated as offensive conduct.

Important Instructions regarding RUET 2025 Exam

• Admission into the examination hall of RUET 2025 will be done 30 minutes before the commencement time of the examination. Candidates should sit as per the sitting arrangement instruction given for entering into the examination hall on time. If any applicant gets delayed, then he may be disallowed to enter and to take the exam.
• Valid Admit Card for RUET 2025 examination should be produced as per the instructions of invigilator and on demand of authorities of examination center. Without an admit card, applicants would not be permitted to take the exam.
• It may allow the applicant to bring cardboard or a clip board to support his answer sheet. Competent authority of the RUET Exam can scrutinize the cardboard or clip board in such a way that nothing should have been written on it. If anything suspicious has appeared, applicants have to suffer from unfavourable situations.
• Use of mobile phone, electronic gadgets, musical audio video devices, blank or written paper, Calculator, textual material, books, documents, slide rules, log tables, and electronic watches, and bits of papers, other than RUET 2024 Admit Card, applicant's identity proof, are not allowed inside the examination hall. If any applicant found with some of the above restricted items, then he will be dealt as per the rules and regulations enacted for the use of unfair means, and as per the consequences the applicant shall be suspended from RUET exam and such case may be handed over to police administration and applicant also debarred from the competition exam permanently.
• No applicant will be allowed to enter the RUET examination center after 30 minutes of the commencement of the examination, under any circumstances.
• All seats in all rooms of the exam center indicate roll numbers of applicants and a sitting arrangement planning list is also pasted at the entrance of the exam center and outside of every room to facilitate the applicant to easily find out his sitting place. In case of any confusion, the applicant can confirm his seat with the staff and invigilators at the examination center. Taking any seat will be problematic for the applicants since it is a serious problem.
• Test Booklet along with an Answer Sheet shall be provided to the applicant nearly ten minutes before the start of the RUET 2024 exam. It is a sealed booklet. Don't open this without permission from the invigilator.
• Candidates should write required informationrmation on the cover page of the booklet as mentioned on the Test Booklet as the instructions written on it.
• Leaving examination hall without the permission of invigilator at any time is deemed to be misconduct and candidature of the applicant may be rejected.
• Applicants are advised not to carry any valuable or precious belongings or cash as it will not be permitted to take in the examination hall and no one else will be responsible for security of any belonging.
• Only water can be taken as per the instruction so that no one else should be disturbed. Taking or Drinking tea, coffee, cold drinks and snacks is not allowed during the RUET 2025 exam.
• Smoking and eating is not allowed in the RUET 2025 examination hall in any case.
