WBJEE 2025 Application Form (OUT):Steps to Fill Form, Application Fee, Correction Facility

WBJEE 2025 application form is now available online at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee. Candidates can fill out and submit the WBJEE application form 2025 until the final date i.e., February 23, 2025. No applications will be accepted after the WBJEE 2025 application form last date. While filling out the WBJEE application form, the candidates have to provide their personal, academic and contact details. The WBJEE 2025 application fee has to be paid online i.e., through net banking/debit card/credit card. No other mode of fee payment will be accepted. Before WBJEE 2025 registration, the candidates are advised to check the official eligibility criteria. If any mistakes are submitted, the candidates can correct them through the WBJEE 2025 application form correction facility from February 25 to 27, 2025. However, not all details will be open for corrections. Unregistered candidates will not be considered eligible for the WBJEE 2025 exam, which will be held on April 27, 2025. WBJEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The authorities have announced the official WBJEE 2025 eligibility criteria. Candidates are advised to check the WBJEE eligibility criteria 2025 before registering for the entrance examination. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility norms will not be considered for admission into the participating institutes of the state. The WBJEE eligibility criteria might vary for different courses and at the institute level. 

Eligibility criteria for appearing in WBJEE 2025

Nationality

• The candidate must be an Indian citizen

Age restriction

• Candidates must be at least 17 years of age as of the admission year. There is no upper age limit for appearing in the exam.
• However, for admission to the Marine Engineering Course, the lower age limit is 17 years as of December 31, 2025, and the upper age limit is 25 years as of December 31, 2025.

WBJEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech Admissions

• The candidates should have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of the listed below subjects as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all three subjects in regular class mode.

  • Biology
  • Computer Science
  • Computer Application
  • Technical Vocational Subject
• Must have secured a minimum of 45 per cent marks (40 per cent in the case of candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, and PwD) in the above three subjects taken together.
• Candidates should have qualified English in the Class 12 exam with at least 30 per cent marks.
• The Board of the Qualifying Examination must be recognised by the Central Government or State Government concerned.

What should be kept ready before filling out the WBJEE 2025 application form?

Before filling out the WBJEE 2025 application form, the candidates are advised to keep the following certificates and details ready. This will allow the candidates to complete the WBJEE application form process quickly and without any issues. How to fill WBJEE 2025 application form?

The authorities have released the WBJEE 2025 application form online. To be registered for the entrance exam, the candidates will have to complete the WBJEE application process before the final date i.e., February 23, 2025. The given steps can be followed by the candidates to fill out and submit the WBJEE application form 2025.

Step 1: Registration - First, the candidates will have to click on the WBJEE 2025 registration link. The candidates can complete the registration process following the given steps.

• Click on 'New Candidate Registration'
• To register, candidates will have to provide details like their name, date of birth, email address, mobile number and more. The provided details have to be reviewed before submission. 
• On successful WBJEE 2025 registration, an OTP will be sent to the candidate's registered mobile number.
• Verification of the same has to be done to complete the WBJEE registration process. 
• The WBJEE 2025 application number will be generated after the registration process is over.

Step 2: Fill out the application form - After the registration, the candidates will have to fill out the WBJEE 2025 application form with the below-mentioned details.

• Nationality
• State of Domicile
• Religion
• Category
• Income Category
• Qualification Details - Passing Status, Passing/Appearing Year, Institute Name and Address, Institute Pincode
• Contact Details - Present Address, Permanent Address
• Exam Centre - The selection of three exam centres has to be done in the order of preference

Step 3: Uploading of scanned documents - Next, the candidates have to upload scanned copies of their recent passport-size photograph and signature as per the official specifications. If the documents do not meet the specifications, then it will not be accepted.

Step 4: Pay the WBJEE 2025 application fee - Finally, the candidates will have to pay the WBJEE application fee 2025 online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of payment will be accepted. If the candidates fail to pay the application fee before the final date, then they will not be allowed to attempt the exam. The generated online receipt has to be preserved as it will be required during the WBJEE 2025 admission process.

Step 5: Download the confirmation page - A confirmation page will be generated after the application form is submitted. Candidates should take a printout of the confirmation page and preserve it for future reference.

How to recover WBJEE 2025 application number?

If the candidates forget their WBJEE 2025 application number and password, they can recover it by following the given steps.

• Go to wbjeeb.nic.in
• Click on the application link.
• Go to 'Forgot Application Number'
• Candidates will have to provide their name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth and gender.
• Click on 'Submit'
• The application number will be generated and displayed on the screen.

Forgot the WBJEE 2025 password?

• Go to wbjeeb.nic.in
• Click on the application link.
• Go to 'Forgot Password'
• Candidates can select their convenient option - using an OTP via SMS or using a reset email link.
• The new password has to be provided following the guidelines.
• Click on 'Submit'

WBJEE 2025 Application Correction Window

WBJEE 2025 application form correction facility will be available from February 25 to 27, 2025. Through the WBJEE application form 2025 correction facility, the candidates will be able to edit/correct the details that they have submitted in the application form. • Click on the “WBJEE 2025 form correction” tab
• Candidates will have to provide their WBJEE 2025 application number, password and security pin.
• Click on the “Sign In” button
• The required details have to be corrected/edited. 
• Finally, the application form has to be submitted.

WBJEE 2025 Application Form Image Discrepancy

The WBJEE 2025 application form correction window will allow the candidates to make changes to the uploaded images/photos. All of the uploaded images have to be as per the official specifications mentioned below.
