The Verbal and Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, and General Knowledge components of the XAT curriculum are determined by XLRI Jamshedpur. The Decision Making segment of the XAT is a unique element that requires particular preparation. In order to score competitively in XAT 2025, applicants need to learn every topic on the curriculum thoroughly. Because of its special characteristics, careful planning is necessary. As the exam is planned for January, applicants should set aside around three to four months to prepare for XAT 2025, ideally beginning by June. The following tables show the syllabus of XAT

The content of the 2025 XAT Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation syllabus will be the same as those of prior exams. View below

  1. This section has 28 questions.
  2. The XAT Quantitative Aptitude has a high degree of difficulty.
  3. Every question is worth one mark.
  4. Every wrong answer results in a 0.25 mark deduction.
  5. The majority of the problems come from the following topics: mixed graphs, time zones, coordinate geometry, algebra, arithmetic, and data sufficiency.
  6. The question is in MCQ format.

For XAT 2025, the Verbal Ability syllabus will be the same as in prior years. The exam's sectional composition is shown below

  1. The VA portion of the XAT in 2025 will consist of 26 questions.
  2. This section's questions will each be worth one mark.
  3. For each incorrect response, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Highlights: XAT GK section

  1. There will be 25 questions in General Knowledge section of XAT 2025
  2. Each question will carry one mark and there is no negative marking in GK section
  3. The questions will be asked from History, Geography, Economy & Business, Current Affairs, Personality & Awards, Science & Technology
  4. Candidates can prepare GK in the last month of XAT preparation as it is memory based and only need memorizing dates, events, names, etc.
  5. Format of the questions will be MCQ.
