- Admission for Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Integrated Postgraduate Programs in UoC is now open.
- The online registration process with late fee against vacant seats in various programs, except B.P.Ed, BPES (Integrated) and M.P.Ed programs in Calicut University and other affiliated colleges is open from 19th August 2024.
- Admission to the UoC and its affiliated colleges through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for all courses.
- Students need to go through the Calicut University Centralised Admission Test (CUCAT) to get into CU and its affiliated colleges.
- The waiting rank list for PG programmes to fill up the vacant seats through PGCAP 2024 is now available on the Calicut University's Admission Portal.
- The late registration process through PGCAP 2024-25 has started from 22nd August 2024 on its official website.
- Moreover, the late registration process through FYUGP 2024 for UG courses 2024-25 has been completed since 23rd August 2024.
- The first allotment list for B.Ed Commerce course Admission was released on 22nd August 2024. However, shortlisted candidates need to pay the registration fees by 24th August 2024.
- In 2023 NIRF Rankings, Calicut University ranked 70th out of 100 Top Colleges in India.
- The University of Calicut has been ranked #401-450 in the QS Asia University Rankings 2023 and #92 in the QS Global Rankings 2023 for Asian Universities - Southern Asia.
