Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University the first university in Uttar Pradesh to become a prominent hub for higher education following independence was Gorakhpur University, which was established in 1957. Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, a distinguished political philosopher, is the name of the university. It is located in Gorakhpur and finds inspiration in the world-famous Gita Press, the spiritual, intellectual, patriotic, and charitable legacies of Gautam Buddha, Sant Kabir, Guru Gorakshnath, Bismil, and Hanuman Prasad Poddar.

Since its founding, the 190.96-acre institution, which has eight faculties and forty departments, has played a significant role in providing Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Western Bihar, and Nepalese citizens with comprehensive education. It is a residential-cum-affiliating state university that covers three districts in Eastern Uttar Pradesh. It has a strong academic history, illustrious alumni, knowledgeable, dedicated faculty, an open and effective administrative structure, plenty of opportunities for professional advancement, state-of-the-art research facilities, and a safe and vibrant campus.

Over half of the 12,000 enrolled students at the university are female. For the 2024-2025 academic year, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University is accepting applications for its undergrad programs (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., etc.) based on an entrance test merit list.

Normal Instruction:

Step1: Complete the Application Form for the Courses You Want.

1. Once you have read the admission brochure and these instructions, you can use the links below to register or log in.
2. Enter the following details in the Registration Form: The applicant's name, birthdate, and parents' names (as verified by high school transcripts or comparable assessments), a distinct and legitimate mobile number, stream, category, application, password, Enter the Captcha and the password again.
3. The applicant can log in straight from the relevant link if they have already registered.

Step 2: Verification of Account:

1. Upon registering, the registered mobile number of the applicant will receive an OTP.
2. By entering the OTP in the verification code section, the applicant can validate the account.

Step 3: Method of Payment:

1. The applicant goes to the payment gateway to pay the application fee after having their account verified. Payment options for the fee include credit card, debit card, net banking, and UPI.
2. The fee receipt is available for download by the applicant when the fee payment process is complete.

Step 4: Fill out the application.

Once the fee payment process is over, you will be able to fill out every element of this online application form.

2. A scanned copy of your signature is acceptable; jpg or png formats
3. scanned copy of your diploma or mark sheet from high school (only PDFs accepted)
4. scanned copy of the certificate of categorisation, if relevant (PDF only is allowed.)
5. scanned copies of the certificates for weightage claims, if any
6. Certificates for NCC B, Scouts, Guides, University, College, Ward, and Sports (only PDFs accepted)
7. scanned copy of the certificate for a special category, if relevant

Preview:

The system will verify that every field on the form has been filled out. You will be asked to fill out the form if it is discovered to be missing. You will be asked to FINAL SUBMIT your completed application form if all fields are filled out.

Your application procedure will be finished after you click FINAL SUBMIT. After that, you'll be taken to a new page where you can download your filled-out application. You will also be able to apply on this page for any other DDU University programs that you qualify for.
