If candidates qualify the exam, they will get their JRF/ Lectureship certificates. The JRF certificate is valid for 2 years while the Lectureship certificate is valid for a lifetime. Candidates’ qualification depends upon the cutoff marks set by NTA. It is based on various factors like the total number of candidates appearing for the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, and more.
The cutoff marks for JRF and NET (Lectureship) are different and candidates need to have the minimum qualifying marks for a particular subject. They can check the subject-wise and category-wise CSIR NET Cutoff marks of the last few years to have an idea about the approximate good scores.
