NVS 2025 registration process commenced on July 16, 2024. All the eligible students can register for the exam till September 23, 2024. Students can complete NVS application process at the website, cbseitms.rcil.gov.in/nvs. Firstly, aspirants need to fill in some basic details and provide his/ her respective Aadhaar Card number or any government-issued photo IDs. The authority charges no application fees for appearing at NVS exam. Students along with their respective photographs, signatures, and parent’s signature also need to upload the study certificate. As per the latest data for the 2021-22 academic year, a total of 2417009 students registered for the exam.
Steps to Apply for NVS 2025 Examination?
NVS 2025 application process is carried out in an online mode. Students need to visit the official website, navodaya.gov.in, and follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to the official website of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, i.e., navodaya.gov.in
Step 2: Search for the popup link “Click here to submit online application form for class VI Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2025”
Step 3: On the portal cbseitms.rcil.gov.in, navigate to “ Click here for Registration for Class VI JNVST (2025-26)”
Step 4: Enter some mandatory information, and provide Aadhaar Card details or any of the photo ID proofs, name, mobile number, email ID, date of birth, academic details, etc.
Step 5: Upload the candidates’ photograph, signature, parent's signature, and study certificate.
Step 6: Once everything is filled, print the filled in NVS 2025 application form.
NVS 2025 Application Fees
There is no application fee set for any categories to appear in NVS examination. It has been done to maintain the flexibilities between the urban and rural residing candidates.

- Passed Class 5 before the academic year 2024-25 or not

Students who have forgotten their respective MTS registration number, can download the same by following these steps:
Step 1: Visit the online registration portal, i.e., navodaya.gov.in
Step 2: Search for “ Click Here to Find Your Registration Number” link
Step 3: Enter name, father’s name, mother’s name, and date of birth, and fill in the captcha code
Step 4: Click on the “Search Registration Number” and the same will be displayed on the screen.
