NVS 2025 exam will be conducted in an offline pen and paper-based mode. All the candidates will be provided with a separate question booklet and OMR sheet for marking the answers. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and there will be three sections, viz., Mental Ability, Arithmetic Test, and Language Test. NVS exam includes a total of 80 questions with 1.25 weightage of marks for every correct attempts. No negative marking is done for incorrect attempts. Students will be required to mark answers with either a blue or a black ballpoint pen only.
Mode of NVS 2025 Examination
Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test of Class 6 is conducted in an offline mode only. Candidates will be required to mark their answers on respective OMR sheets only.
Duration of NVS 2025 Examination
The total duration of NVS exam is 2 hours, and starts at 11:30 AM and ends at 01:30 PM. There will be a sectional time limit of 60 minutes for the Mental Ability Test and 30 minutes each for the Arithmetic Test, and Language Test. Differently-abled or Divyang (PwD) category students are given 40 minutes additional time for completing the test.
