The National Testing Agency (NTA) will use the information brochure to tell candidates about the 2025 NIFT entrance exam syllabus.
There are TWO phases of the NIFT examination.The CAT and GAT written tests are part of the first level. While the candidates who made the short list must NEXT show up for a personal interview and situation test.
The NIFT 2025 written exams will likely be administered by the NTA during the first week of February 2025.
The CAT paper will be given offline, whereas the GAT paper will be given online. It should be noted that while the CAT is required of B.Des and M.Des applicants exclusively, however, the GAT is required for all courses.
Quantitative analytics, analytical skills, communication aptitude, English comprehension, and other subjects will be covered in the NIFT 2025 GAT syllabus. B.Des applicants, if shortlisted, need to take the Situation Test, which is a hands-on test. The exam will assess a person's capacity for creativity and material handling skills in a specific scenario using a specific set of materials.
However, PG candidates must go through GD and PI that are based on case studies. The GDPI will run for fifteen to twenty minutes.

The CAT test is given to assess a candidate's intuitive ability, capacity of observation, concept generation, and design aptitude in accordance with the NIFT syllabus. The test's unique and inventive use of color and drawing techniques is a significant component.
