Uceed Application Process

IIT Bombay concluded the application process for UCEED 2025 with late fees on November 18, 2024. The original deadline was extended until November 8, 2024. Regular applications were accepted until October 31, 2024.

Document Checklist for UCEED 2025 Application Form

Candidates must ensure they have the following documents ready for uploading when completing the UCEED 2025 application:

Recent Passport-Sized Photograph

Format: JPEG (.jpg)
Size: 5 KB to 100 KB
Specifications: The photo must be recent, taken in the last six months, and show a full front-facing view with the head centered, covering 70-80% of the image.

Signature

Format: JPEG (.jpg)
Size: 2 KB to 50 KB
Specifications: A clear scanned image of the candidate's signature on white paper.

Class 12 Marksheet (Qualifying Exam Certificate)

Format: PDF (.pdf)
Size: 30 KB to 500 KB
Upload Requirement: Candidates who appeared for the exam in 2023 or before.

Proof of Date of Birth

Format: PDF (.pdf)
Size: 30 KB to 500 KB
Accepted Documents: SSC certificate, Passport, or Birth Certificate.

Provisional Certificate

Format: PDF (.pdf)
Size: 30 KB to 300 KB
Upload Requirement: Candidates appearing for their qualifying exam in 2024 must upload a certificate from the school/college principal.

Gazette Notification (if applicable)

Format: PDF (.pdf)
Size: 30 KB to 300 KB
Upload Requirement: If the name on the Class 12 certificate differs from the current one.

Category Certificate (if applicable)

Format: PDF (.pdf)
Size: 30 KB to 300 KB
Upload Requirement: For candidates applying under reserved categories.

Request Letter for PwD Candidates

Upload Requirement: For candidates requesting a scribe or extra time for the exam.

Steps to Complete UCEED 2025 Application Form

Candidates should follow these steps to complete the UCEED 2025 application process at uceed.iitb.ac.in:

Online Registration

Click on the registration link to open the registration form.
Enter your email ID and click Register.
An activation link will be sent to your email. Click the link to complete your registration by filling in additional details like name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, etc.
Set a password for your new account.

Fill in Personal Details

After registration, candidates must provide personal details, including:

Category
Economically Weaker Section (EWS) status
PwD status
Email address
Mobile number

Fill in Educational Qualifications

Candidates must provide details regarding their education, including:

Year of passing or appearing in Class 12
Name of Board
Name and address of the School/College

Select Test Centers

Candidates can choose up to three test cities in order of preference. Once selected, requests for changes will not be entertained.

Upload Documents

Upload scanned copies of the following documents in the required format:

Recent photograph
Signature
Qualifying examination certificate (if applicable)
Gazette notification (if applicable)
Provisional certificate (if applicable)
Category certificate (if applicable)
PwD request letter (if applicable)

Pay the UCEED Application Fee

Confirm that all sections of the UCEED application are completed and pay the required application fee online.

UCEED 2025 Application Fees

For Indian Nationals:

Female Candidates (all categories) / SC, ST, PwD: INR 2,000
All Other Candidates: INR 4,000

For Foreign Nationals (including PIO/OCI):

Candidates from SAARC countries: USD 420
Candidates from Non-SAARC countries: USD 525

UCEED 2025 Exam Centers

Candidates will select their preferred exam cities during the application process. The UCEED 2025 exam will take place in 24 cities, with multiple exam centers in some locations. Candidates may choose up to three cities in order of preference. The available exam cities are:

UCEED 2025 Counseling Process

Candidates who qualify the UCEED 2025 exam and receive a merit rank will be eligible to participate in the counseling process for seat allotment at participating institutes.

Join Counseling

After the UCEED results are declared, candidates with a merit rank can register for the Joint Seat Allotment Process on the UCEED admission portal.

Fill in Preferences

Candidates must log in and select their preferred colleges in order of preference.

Upload Documents

Upload any required documents as part of the admission process.

Pay the Admission Fee

Pay the application fee to complete the counseling process.

Submit the Form

After submission, candidates should take a printout of their application for future reference.

BDes Admission Application Fee

Candidates participating in the UCEED 2025 counseling for B.Des admissions at participating institutes must pay an application fee of INR 2,000. This fee can be paid using a credit card, debit card, or through internet banking.
