IIT Bombay will release the cut-off marks for UCEED 2025 (Part A) on February 6, 2025—the Part A cut-off will be used to shortlist candidates. Part B answer booklets will be evaluated for qualified candidates. Also, total marks and category-wise UCEED 2025 merit ranks will be issued to candidates who meet the Part A cut-off. In case of candidates who fail to meet the cut-off, the UCEED 2025 scorecard will only include Part A marks.
The cut-off will be released in the form of mean and standard deviation—the cut-off marks for the 1st round of UCEED 2025 seat allotment on April 21, 2025. The cut-off will be released category-wise for all the participating colleges and include the opening and closing ranks for admission to the B.Des program.
IIT Bombay will separate cut-offs for each of the UCEED 2025 seat-allotment rounds. Note that UCEED counselling will have FIVE rounds of seat allotment.

Difference Between Qualifying Cutoff and Admission Cutoff
The qualifying cutoff is the score applicants must receive in Part A to be considered for further consideration. Only candidates who satisfy this threshold will receive merit ranks after reviewing their Part B paper. Shortlisting of Candidates for UCEED 2025
The shortlist of candidates will be determined by their Part A scores. The mean score plus half the standard deviation of the distribution of scores earned by each candidate in Part A will be the cutoff score for shortlisting candidates in the Open category. Two decimal places will be used to round the mean and standard deviation. The reduced cutoff for candidates in the reserved categories will be 50% of the cutoff for SC/ST/PwD candidates and 90% of the cutoff for OBC-NCL/EWS candidates.
