The results of the class 12 board exams for 2024 were released today by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The official websites, cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, results.digilocker.gov.in, and umang.gov.in, are where students can view and download their CBSE Class 12th result.
To check their scores, students will need to use their roll numbers listed on their admit cards. The results can be accessed via the SMS feature, the Digilocker app, the Pariksha Sangam webpage, and the UMANG app. Below is one of the easy way through which the students can check their result:
How to Check CBSE Class 12th Result 2024?
If the CBSE website is not working, students can check their scores using DigiLocker. here’s how:
Step 1: Download the Digilocker app or go to digilocker.gov.in on the browser
Step 2: Create an account on this Digilocker app.
Step 3: When the results are announced, log in to the app.
Step 4: Click on CBSE Result option
Step 5: Then select the CBSE Class 12 Result 2024 link.
Step 6: Enter your Aadhaar card number and click on submit.
Step 7: The scorecard will be displayed on the screen.
Meanwhile, the overall passing percentage for the CBSE this year was 87.98%.Wherein, there has been a little increase in the pass percentage of 0.65 percentage points. However, this year's pass rate for female students is 91.52%, up from 90.68% the previous year. This year, the passing percentage for male students is 85.12%. However, there won't be a merit list released in order to prevent unhealthy competition.
When it comes to student pass rates, the CTSA leads the field with 99.23%, followed by JNVs with 98.90% and KVs with 98.81%. In government-aided and government schools, the pass rates are 91.42% and 87.23%, respectively. In independent schools, the pass rate is 87.70 percent.
Furthermore, the overall pass rate for the CBSE Class 12th results last year was 87.33 percent, a decrease from 2022. But compared to the years before the pandemic, the performance has improved (83.40 percent in 2019). With 99.91 percent, Trivandrum had been the best district in 2022 and 2023. Bengaluru came in second with 98.64 percent and Chennai third with 97.40 percent. Delhi West, with 93.24 percent, came in fourth.
Additionally, passing certificates and CBSE mark sheets will be posted on DigiLocker. By just activating their CBSE Class 12th result at their DigiLocker account, applicants who took the exam can receive their results online. To get digital copies of their grades and certificates, students must first activate their accounts and use their security pins.
Meanwhile, students who do not pass the tests will have the opportunity to take the board compartment exams after the results of the class 12 exams are announced. Following the results announcement, information regarding the compartmental exams will be made public.
