The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 registration deadline has been extended once more. The deadline has been extended from October 3 to October 11. Since the first deadline was September 26, this is the second extension.
Those who have not yet registered but would like to take the test can do so by October 11 by completing the online form at gate2025.iitr.ac.in, the official website.
The notification stated that “due to several requests from applicants, the closing date of extended online registration/ application process (With a Late Fee) is further extended up to 11:59 PM, 11th October 2024 (Friday).”
This year, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will host GATE, which is scheduled to take place in February 2025 via computer-based testing (CBT). On August 28, registration for GATE 2025 opened, and on request from the students, it has since been extended.
There will be 30 test papers in total for GATE 2025, which will include both full and sectional papers. The registration price is Rs. 1,800 for foreign nationals as well as all other applicants, with the exception of ladies, SC, ST, and PwD candidates, who pay Rs. 900.
A candidate will have to reapply the next year if they do not complete the GATE 2025 application before October 11.

Enter the personal information, the papers you wish to appear for, your postal address, the cities where the exam will be held, and the specifics of your degree of qualification.
Upload a scanned copy of your ID, your signature, your category certificate, and, if relevant, your PwD certificate.
Enter the bank information and a valid government identification number.
Finish the payment procedure.
Print the GATE 2025 application form and ensure that it is complete by checking the application status.
