MAT 2025 Composite Score and Percentile
While the raw total marks show the actual score, however, most Top B-schools in India focus on the MAT composite score and MAT percentile. The MAT 2025 Composite Score is a scaled score based on the performance in four sections. The Indian & Global Environment section is usually not included in this calculation. However, it still adds to the MAT 2025 Raw Score of the candidate. The percentile shows how one has performed compared to other test-takers.
For example, if a candidate gets a 90 percentile, it means they scored higher than 90% of the candidates.
Raw Score vs Scaled Score
The MAT 2025 Actual Marks obtained are the raw score. These are then converted into scaled scores. The scaled scores help in preparing the final merit list and percentile.
Composite Score
The Indian and Global Environment section is not counted in the final composite score of MAT 2025. The composite score is calculated based on the first four sections only:
- Language Comprehension
- Mathematical Skills
- Data Analysis & Sufficiency
- Intelligence & Critical Reasoning
