MHT CET 2025 Score Distribution Analysis: PCM and PCB Groups

The MHT CET 2025 score distribution analysis for the PCM and PCB groups reveals important insights into student performance. For the PCM group, a total of 4,64,263 candidates appeared for the exam. Among them, approximately 10% scored within the top 90–100 percentile, while the largest group—about 44,788 students—fell in the 70–79.99 percentile range. This indicates a roughly bell-shaped distribution, where most candidates scored in the mid-range percentiles. While exact raw marks for each range are not available, this data allows us to classify performance into three bands: High Performers (top ~10%), Average Performers (middle ~80%), and Low Performers (bottom ~10%). In the case of the PCB group, 3,01,072 candidates registered, and 2,82,734 appeared for the exam. Although detailed percentile-wise data has not been released for the PCB group, a similar classification can be applied: High Performers make up roughly the top 5–10%, Average Performers account for about 85–90%, and Low Performers represent the bottom 5–10%. This classification helps in understanding how student scores are spread and highlights that most students fall within the average performance band.

MHT CET Rank vs Percentile 2025

The MHT CET Rank vs Percentile 2025 data shows that students with a percentile between 99 and 91 get top ranks (1 to 19,000) and have a good chance of getting into the best engineering colleges. As the percentile goes down, the rank goes up. Those with 90 to 81 percentile get ranks between 19,001 and 30,000. Students with 70 to 61 percentiles fall between ranks 40,001 and 47,000. If the percentile is below 60, students mostly get options in private colleges. This data shows that even a slight drop in percentile can lead to a significant change in rank.
