The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the NDA II 2024 exam notification on 15th May 2024. The last date of NDA II application submission is 4th June 2024. The NDA II 2024 application correction window will be open from 5th June 2024 to 11th June 2024. Candidates make the required changes in their NDA application form within the given deadline. Candidates will be able to pay the application fee offline till 3rd June 2024 and online till 4th June 2024. The National Defence Academy (NDA) II 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on 1st September 2024.The UPSC conducts the NDA exam twice a year to select deserving students for their admission in Army, Navy and Air Force of the National Defence Academy and Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). The NDA selection process consists of a written exam and then SSB Interview after qualifying the written exam.

NDA II 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria set for the National Defence Academy (NDA) II 2024 exam in order to get admission in the Indian Army, Navy or Air Force. The NDA II eligibility criteria includes age limit, nationality, gender, marital status, physical status and educational qualifications. The eligibility criteria for NDA II 2024 exam is as follows -

Gender Both Male & Female candidates are eligible to apply for NDA II 2024 exam.
Marital Status Married inpiduals aren’t eligible to apply for the NDA II 2024 examination. Candidates aren’t allowed to get married until the completion of their training period.
Physical Status Applicants must be physically fit to apply for the NDA II 2024.
Age Limit The age limit set for NDA II 2024 is 16.5 years to 19.5 years. For NDA II exam, candidates must have been born on or after 2nd January 2005 and on or before 1st January 2008.
Nationality Indian citizens / subject of Nepal / subject of Bhutan / refugee of Tibetan (who came to India before January 1st, 2024 with the intention to permanently settle in India) are eligible to apply for NDA II 2024.Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and East African migrants who came to India for permanent settlement are eligible to apply for NDA II 2024.Foreign candidates (except Gorkhas) will be required to submit a certificate of eligibility which is issued by the Government of India.
Educational Qualifications Candidates who have clearly passed their Class 12 (10+2) or are appearing in Class 12 are eligible to apply. Candidates applying for NDA II 2024 examination should study Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12.

 

Steps to Apply for the Examination

Candidates are required to follow the below steps to apply for the NDA II 2024 examination. The steps are as follows -
  1. Visit UPSC’s official website.
  2. Students need to register themselves in the OTR if they are new users.
  3. Previously registered students can directly proceed to fill the NDA II 2024 application form.
  4. The NDA II Registration comprises of two parts i.e., Part I and Part II.
  5. The Part 1 of registration includes candidate’s registration, choosing the preferred branch, verifying details, and generation of registration ID.
  6. Whereas in Part II, candidates are required to pay the application fees, select exam centre, upload scanned signatures and photographs.
  7. After filling the form, cross-check and click on ‘submit’ option.
  8. Candidates are recommended to take a printout of the application form and fee transaction receipt.
