After the release of the Odisha Merit List, the candidates will be prioritised based on the Tie-Breaking Guidelines. The Tie-Breaking Guidelines, which will be followed, are as follows:
- The candidate with the higher marks in Biology will be preferred.
- If the tie still exists, then the one with the higher marks in Chemistry will be preferred.
- If the tie still exists, then the candidate who has fewer negative marks will be preferred.
- If the tie still exists, then the older candidate will be preferred.

The officials of the Odisha NEET 2025 have released their provisional merit list. If the candidate has any objections regarding the provisional merit list, they are allowed to object by 5:00 PM on July 30, 2025.
