SRMJEEE 2025 Rank vs Branch: CSE, IT, CSE, Mechanical and More

Last update: Jun 25, 2025

SRMJEEE Rank vs Branch 2025 will be covered in detail on this page. SRMJEEE 2024 counselling data shows that top branches like CSE at the Kattankulathur campus closed around AIR 9,250 in the final round, while CSE specialisations closed near AIR 11,000. Lower-demand branches such as Civil and Mechanical extended up to AIR 70,000 across campuses. The 2025 rank vs branch trends are expected to follow a similar pattern, subject to seat intake and applicant volume. The final SRMJEEE 2025 branch-wise cutoff will be announced by the university after the counselling process. SRMJEEE Phase 2 Counselling has begun today, June 25, 2025.

SRMJEEE 2025 Marks vs Ranks

The SRMJEEE Marks vs Rank 2025 table outlines the projected rank range for candidates based on their raw scores in the exam. This data is derived from an analysis of previous years’ SRMJEEE score trends (2022–2024) and the expected difficulty level of the 2025 examination. Since SRMIST uses a percentile-based normalisation process, actual results may vary slightly across slots; however, the estimates below provide a reliable benchmark for counselling preparation.

Counselling Rounds & Seat Allotment Logic

This section provides a full SRMJEEE 2025 counselling structure—including number of rounds, allotment mechanism, upgrade policies, and timeline. Content is sourced entirely from official documents and verified portals.

Number of Counselling Phases & Rounds

  • Three exam phases are conducted for SRMJEEE 2025:
    • Phase I: April 22–27
    • Phase II: June 12–17
    • Phase III: July 4–5
  • Each phase leads to one dedicated counselling round, resulting in three main seat allotment rounds. Final seat availability may include additional spot rounds depending on vacancy.

Seat Allotment Process

  • After each phase result is declared, candidates are invited for:
    • Choice filling – based on rank and available branches/campuses.
    • Seat allotment – systems allocate seats strictly on All India Rank (AIR), placed preferences, and real-time seat availability.
  • Overview of Phase I, Round I timeline:
    • Rank list release: May 5, 2025 (3 PM)
    • Choice filling: May 7–9, 2025
    • Seat allotment + fee payment (₹1 lakh acceptance fee): May 14–21, 2025.
  • Phase I, Round II continues with seat allotment based on upgraded choices: May 24–29, and fee deadline on June 15, 2025.
  • Phase II counselling follows similarly:
    • Choice filling: June 25–26, 2025
    • Allotment: June 28–July 7, 2025.

Upgrade/Sliding Process

  • Candidates allotted seats in an earlier round may opt to upgrade to a better branch/campus in subsequent rounds.
  • If upgraded, the initial seat is automatically released and the new seat is allotted based on updated preferences and rank position.
  • Those satisfied with the current allotment may choose not to participate in further rounds, keeping their seat secure.

SRMJEEE 2025 Cutoff Determining Parameters

The SRMJEEE cutoff scores are calculated using specific measurable inputs each year. These include:

  • Total number of applicants in the current exam cycle
  • Seat availability across all SRM campuses and branches
  • Exam difficulty level, which influences average performance range
  • Historical closing ranks from the last 2–3 admission cycles

SRMJEEE 2025 Counselling Protocol

Following the release of results and cutoffs, SRMIST initiates the counselling rounds:

  • Admission offers are made based on All India Rank (AIR) and the candidate’s filled-in course and campus preferences.
  • Candidates receiving allotments can either accept or decline the offer.
  • Upon acceptance, payment of the counselling and registration fee is mandatory to confirm and lock the seat.
