The VIT Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) 2024 exam was successfully conducted from 19th April 2024 to 30th April 2024. VITEEE qualified candidates are eligible for VIT Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) 2024 Counselling session. Candidates must remember that VIT does not provide any facility for re-checking the result. This year, around 2 lakh students participated in the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam.
The VITEEE equating methodology is generally used to adjust scores of candidates who have taken different forms of a test. VITEEE 2024 Equating Methodology
The VITEEE 2024 result is calculated using the equating methodology. This methodology is used to provide equal opportunity and fair comparison for all candidates. This method helps in keeping all the students at the same levels despite appearing the exam in different slots. Thus, the university uses this equating methodology to balance the scores of all candidates using various factors.
Cutoff 2024
The VIT authorities prepared the VITEEE 2024 cut-off list to select candidates for admission into the university. The closest rank for any engineering stream will be considered as the VITEEE 2024 cutoff. The factors determining the VITEEE 2024 cutoff are as follows -
Total number of candidates who appeared in the exam
The VITEEE 2024 counselling session has begun from 7th May 2024. The VITEEE 2024 counselling (phase 1) from Rank 1 to 20,000 choice filling is going on from 7th to 8th May 2024. Additionally, the VITEEE 2024 Counseling Session fee payment from Rank 1 to above 1,00,000 in four phases is in process. Qualified candidates are eligible to participate in the counselling sessions for admission.
Candidates need to check their rank to register themselves for the counselling process. After successful registration, candidates need to pay the counselling fee online. They can pay via net banking/credit card/ debit card. Students need to choose their preferred courses and campus in the order of preference. The VITEEE 2024 seat allotment results will be released online. The seat allotment will be based on the rank of the candidate, preferences, and seat availability.
