Allahabad University makes admissions based on the results of different national and university-level entrance exams. The cutoffs for these tests differ by course and category. Admissions in 2024 are dependent on tests such as CUET, JEE Main, LAT, PGAT, and GATE.
The Allahabad University Law Admission Test (LAT) is an important entrance exam for admission to the LLB programme. The cutoff scores for LAT 2024 are predicted to be as follows:
Category | Expected Cutoff Marks 2024 |
---|---|
General (UR) | 164.9 and above |
EWS | 153 and above |
OBC | 142.5 and above |
SC | 124.1 and above |
Candidates must meet or above these cutoff marks to be considered for admission. The LAT is a university-level examination that assesses language comprehension, general awareness, reasoning, mental capacity, and legal aptitude. To be eligible for the LAT, candidates must have at least 45% in their graduation. Students in their last year are also eligible, as long as they graduate in a conventional way.
Allahabad University admits B.Tech students based on their JEE Main marks. The projected JEE Main cutoffs in 2024 are:
