Lakshmibai College is known for providing premier institutions of higher education for women, founded in 1965. It is a constituent college of the University of Delhi. Admission

Lakshmibai College of Women admission for UG courses will be based on the merit of Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) exams conducted by NTA and for PG courses will be based on the merit of Common University Entrance Test (CUET-PG). This institute is providing full-time courses.

Admission Procedure

For admission to undergraduate programs of University of Delhi, all candidates must appear in the Common University Entrance test (CUET-UG/PG).

Step 1:- CUET registration 2024

Seeking candidates for admission at LSR need to first register themselves via CUET.

Step 2:- Appear for the CUET exam

Candidates who are willing to get into the colleges, and who are already registered for CUET are required to appear for the exam in the subject of their choice and get a valid score.

Counselling process

The Lady Shri Ram College for Women admission process after the CUET result declaration is explained below:-

Placement

The Centre for Career Guidance, Internship, and Placement (CCGIP) is a proposed initiative that aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical industry experience for students.

The centre will provide students career counselling and with opportunities to gain hands-on experience through internship, projects and placements in various industries and organisations.

Operation

The Centre for career guidance, internship and placement will operate on three levels.

Level 1: Assessment

The focus at this level is to teach the students through various aptitude tests. There are several different types of aptitude test that can be used for career guidance and placement, including-

  1. Cognitive aptitude tests
  2. Personality tests
  3. Internet inventories
  4. Skill tests, etc

Level 2:- Training and guidance

The members of the placement cell will provide training to students. To facilitate this:

  1. Lectures & workshops will be organised every week by faculty members, alumni, or industry experts.
  2. There are many projects that will be run every semester. For example, these projects can produce books, MOOCs, video content, reports, and business models.
  3. In future, graduating students can also be part of the centre which will significantly help in NAAC accreditation.

Level 3: Placement & Internships

The placement committee focused on building relationships with industries, companies and agencies, and NGOs to bring more and more placement and internship offers for the institution.
