The Lakshmi and Usha Mittal Foundation and the Government of Rajasthan formed the LNM Institute of Information Technology, also known as LNMIIT founded in 2002 as a public-private partnership joint venture. As a De-Novo institution, LNMIIT Jaipur was given Deemed-to-be-University status by UGC in 2006 and functions as a self-governing non-profit. The UGC and AICTE both recognise it. India Today's 2024 ranking places the institute in the top 50 engineering colleges. The institute has received an "A" accreditation from NAAC. By signing multiple Memorandums of Understanding both domestically and abroad, LNM Institute of Information Technology has improved learning and research opportunities for students.

BTech, BTech (Hons), BTech-MTech Integrated, MTech, MS by Research, MSc, and PhD are among the seven engineering programs offered full-time by LNM Institute of Information Technology. LNMIIT Jaipur Admission is determined by both entrance and merit. The BTech program admits students in four ways Regular (through JEE Main), Lateral Entry (admission in the third semester), Direct (class 12 Board Toppers), and DASA (Foreign Nationals (FN)/Overseas Citizens of India (OCI)/Non-resident Indian (NRI)/Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries (CIWG)). While MSc candidates must pass the IIT JAM/LNMIIT-MSc Entrance Test, MTech admission is determined by the GATE/LNMIIT-MTech Entrance Test. Candidates must be eligible to take the UGC NET/LNMIIT-PhD Entrance Exam to get admission into the PhD program.

LNMIIT Scholarship 2025

The LNMIIT has made a variety of assistantships and scholarships accessible in order to promote internal competition, reward merit, and assist economically disadvantaged students who have achieved a certain level of academic accomplishment. Merit scholarships are awarded to deserving students who meet the following academic standards. The following is a list of LNMIIT Scholarship

In First Semester:

• Top 20 scorers on the JEE Advanced exam (up to the top 5000 score in the general category). The maximum scholarship amount per semester is INR 35,000.
• Up to the following 20 rankers in the JEE Advanced exam (assuming the general category is in the top 7500 ranks). Each semester, the scholarship is worth INR 30,000.
• Up to the following twenty rankers in the JEE Advanced exam (if in the top 12,000, general category). Each semester, the scholarship is worth INR 25,000.

In Second Semester:

• Academic achievement at LNMIIT starting in the second semester (CGPA of 9.25 or higher).
• CGPA 9.81–10: Up to INR 35,000 can be awarded as a scholarship per semester.
• CGPA 9.51–9.8: Up to INR 30,000 can be awarded as a scholarship per semester.
• Scholarships up to INR 25,000 per semester are available to students with CGPAs between 9.25 and 9.5.

• Central Library: The Institute's library has an anti-theft security system and is completely automated. More than 190 e-books, 19,000 text and reference volumes, 65 national and international periodicals, and roughly 48,160 e-journals are all available.
• Hostel: To house the students on campus, the Institute provides four hostels for boys and one for girls. The furnished hostel rooms are comfortable and rather roomy. A 24-hour power supply, cold and hot water, intranet and Internet connectivity, a clean and hygienic environment, a central air cooling system, a common laundry room, a reading room, common rooms with TVs, a variety of indoor games, a dedicated gym for girls within the girls hostel, and many other facilities both inside the hostel and on campus are all part of the hostel's infrastructure.

• Video Conferencing: Two special video conferencing (VC) facilities are available at the Institute. Additionally, the institute includes two software-based venture capital setups that are available on demand to support a range of academic collaborations through interactive lecture sessions that involve both local audiences and remote experts.
