Patna University offers courses at the undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and doctoral (PhD) levels. The institution offers more than 43 undergraduate courses, 52 postgraduate courses, and 41 doctoral specialisations.

Undergraduate courses

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.): Students who have finished their 10+2 education may apply to this degree. Admission is based on both merit and the Patna University Common Entrance Test. The total tuition price is INR 31500.

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.): For students who have completed their 10+2. Admission is also dependent on merit and the PUCET. The total course fee is INR 10,400.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.): This program is intended for students who have completed their 10+2. Selection is based on merit and PUCET scores, with a total fee of INR 6,174.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA): This course is designed for students interested in entering the management industry. Admission is merit-based, paired with PUCET, with a total cost of INR 45,000.

Bachelor of Social Work (BSW): Students having a 10+2 qualification may apply, with selection based on merit and PUCET. The course fee is Rs. 15,220.

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.): Graduates with at least 55% may apply. Admission is based on the Bachelor of Education Entrance Test (BEET), with a total fee of INR 23,000.

Postgraduate Courses

Master of Arts (M.A.): Graduates from a relevant field may apply to the MA program. Admission is based on merit, and the cost ranges between INR 12,240 to INR 41,000.

Master of Science (M.Sc.): This program is open to graduates from relevant fields, and admission is based on merit. The cost ranges from INR 11,200 and INR 81,000.

Master of Commerce (M.Com.): Graduates from the commerce stream can apply, and admission is based on merit. The charge ranges between INR 480 and INR 22,500.

Master of Business Administration (MBA): The MBA program welcomes graduates from any discipline and admission is based on MAT/CMAT results. The entire fee for this program is INR 1,08,000.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA): Students with a BCA or a B.Sc. in Computer Science may apply. Admission is based on merit, and the total price is INR 53, 130.

Master of Social Work (MSW): Graduates from any area may apply, and admission is based on merit. The price is Rs. 15,220.

Master of Education (M.Ed.): Graduates with a B.Ed. degree and a minimum GPA of 55% may apply. Admission is through the Master of Education Entrance Test (MEET), with a fee of INR 7,700.

PhD Programs
