INI CET 2025: According to the INI CET exam calendar, the INI CET 2025 July session exam is scheduled for May 18, 2025. Candidates can easily check the INI CET 2025 exam calendar on its official website at aiimsexams.ac.in. The INI CET registration process 2025 is expected to begin in March 2025.
INI CET stands for the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test. This exam is conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, for admissions to postgraduate courses, including Master of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh).
The INI CET scores are accepted for admissions to 19 AIIMS, JIPMER Puducherry, PGI Chandigarh, NIMHANS Bengaluru, and SCTIMST Trivandrum. Since 2021, these institutions have unified their admission process for PG courses, replacing their entrance exams with the INI CET 2025. The INI CET 2025 application process for various postgraduate courses for July begins with exam registration. Once candidates complete the introductory and final registration process, they are issued admit cards. After this, candidates have to appear for the examination conducted online at various test centres in India. Those who qualify for the stipulated cut-off become eligible for admission to various masters-level programmes such as MS, MD, MDS, DM, and MCh.
Step 1: Generation of Registration ID
Applicants will receive the registration ID and password on their registered mobile number and email ID. Therefore, they must provide correct details during the basic registration process.
Step 2: Uploading Images
AIIMS Delhi will release the INI CET 2025 exam pattern and the official information brochure. Per the INI CET pattern, the exam is computer-based, and candidates get three hours to answer the exam paper. Details of INI CET pattern 2025 are as follows:

AIIMS Delhi will release the INI CET 2025 syllabus and information brochure on the official website. The question paper is based on the choice of the institute and selected course while filling out the application form. AIIMS will release the INI CET 2025 cut-off online. The cut-off is released on the official website for each category. The cut-off is the last rank for seat allocation in that particular category. A separate cutoff list is released for MD/MS/DM/MCh and MDS courses.

INI CET counselling is conducted in four rounds: mock round, first round, second round and open round. All the rounds of counselling are conducted online. The seat allocation process comprises online registration, choice filling and locking, verification of documents, payment of counselling fee, and INI CET 2025 seat allotment. The admission process for postgraduate courses through INI CET begins with the registrations.
Online registration on the official website of AIIMS is mandatory to participate in the counselling rounds. They must submit their speciality and college preferences on the official portal. Step 6: Accept or decline the allocated seat- Those who make it to the INI CET 2025 seat allocation list must decide whether to accept or reject the seat. Following their registration, users must select one of the following options:
If one chooses option 2, candidates must accept the seat allotted in the 2nd round. The seat allocated in the first round shall be considered vacated, and the same shall be automatically allocated to other candidates in order of merit. Failure to join the upgraded seat shall lead to impositions of the penalty of INR 3.00 Lakh.
There is no option to refuse the seat allotted to you. Candidates must select the options after logging in to their account on the official website. If someone fails to select an option, then it will lead to forfeiture of the allocated seat and render the candidate ineligible for further rounds except the open round of Seat Allocation.
Step 7: Reporting to the Institute for verification of the documents.- Candidates who accept the seat allocated to them have to report to the allotted institute for the verification of the documents. Those who fail to report to the institute will lose the seat allocated to them and will not be eligible to participate in the next round of counselling. However, candidates can participate in the open round of INI CET counselling.

Candidates must possess an MBBS degree for MD/MS and a BDS degree for MDS courses of a University which must be recognised by the Medical Council of India/ Dental Council of India. Moreover, he/she must have completed the required period of 12 months of compulsory rotating internship / practical training on or before 31st January 2025.
The passing percentage of INI CET 2025 for General and other reserved category students is 50% & 45%, respectively.
