CLAT 2026 Exam Eligibility Criteria
As per the notification released by the officials regarding the CLAT 2026 Exam, the required CLAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria that the applicant must possess are as follows:
- For 5-year Integrated LLB (UG):
- The candidate must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examinations from a recognised board.
- The candidates must have passed their 10+2 with the required minimum percentage of marks. For General/OBC/PwD/NRI/PIO/OCI Category, the candidates must acquire at least 45% of marks, whereas for SC/ST Category, the candidates must achieve at least 40% of marks.
- For 1-year LLM (PG):
- The candidate must have a 3-year or 5-year LLB degree from a recognised institution.
- The candidate must have passed their degree with the required minimum percentage of marks. For General/OBC/PwD/NRI/PIO/OCI Category, the candidates must acquire at least 50% of marks, whereas for SC/ST Category, the candidates must achieve at least 45% of marks.
- There is no age limit.
How to Register for The CLAT 2026 Exam?
The CLAT 2026 Exam is scheduled for December 7, 2025, by the authority. Candidates who wish to appear for the CLAT 2026 Exam may register themselves from August 1, 2025, on the CLAT official website. The candidates may use the following steps to register for the CLAT 2026:

- Next, the candidate has to click on the ‘CLAT 2026 Exam Registration’ link available on the website.
- Then, the candidates are required to register themselves to create login credentials.
- Now, go back to the homepage and log in with the created credentials.
- The CLAT 2026 Registration Form will be displayed on the screen.
- The candidates must complete the form with the required personal and academic information.
- Submit and save the CLAT 2026 Registration confirmation slip for future use.
