MAT 2025 will be held on September 21 for the Paper-Based Test (PBT) and September 28 for the Computer-Based Test (CBT). Registrations are now open and will close on September 15 for PBT and September 22 for CBT.

Alagappa University provides various facilities to the students. Alagappa University also provides a hostel facility for both boys and girls. Other facilities include Startup Cell / Incubation Cell, Skill Development, Library Reference Centre for Competitive Examination, Solar Park, Indoor Gymnasium, New Social Science Block, Alagappa Institute of Educational Schools, Information Technology Avenue, Student Affairs, Health Care Centre, Guest House, Canteen, Wifi Hub, etc.

 

Facilities

Library The Central Library of Alagappa University includes one lakh volumes of printed books, subscriptions to 149 printed periodicals, 492 items of non-book materials, and 1446 volumes of theses in print form. Access to 6242+ numbers of Online journals and 1,31,000+ numbers of e-theses are also available. The Library has all the amenities of a University Library - an inviting exterior, spacious Reading Halls, three-tier Stack Rooms, a lucrative Conference Hall, an elegant Discussion Room; Rooms for the Librarian, Library staff, and different sections of the Library. Besides the Central Library, there are four faculty Libraries and Department Libraries to cater to the needs of the users in the respective locations. The Central Library is kept open on all the days of the year, except on Public Holidays (approximately 340 days in a year). The working hours are, on weekdays from 8-00 A.M to 8.00 P.M., and during weekends from 10-00 A.M. to 5-00 P.M.

 

Hostel Alagappa University has 15 hostels with 427 rooms for men and women research scholars and graduate students of the University. Separate hostel for the overseas students. The hostel rooms are well-furnished and well-ventilated. There is provision to accommodate around 1,200 students. The hostels have separate hygienic mess halls, and reading rooms supplemented with leading English and Tamil dailies, magazines, and Employment News.
