IIM Kozhikode Cutoff 2025 is highly competitive for all its postgraduate management programs, as it is one of the best IIMs to attend in India. In the flagship PGP program, all General category candidates require a minimum of the 85th percentile overall as well as the 75th percentile in each of the sections, along with a minimum of 60 per cent marks in both Class X and XII. For reserved categories, OBC-NCL or EWS candidates require an overall score of at least the 75th percentile and a score of at least the 65th percentile in each section, while ST or PWD candidates require a score of at least the 55th percentile overall. For PGP-Finance, the overall cutoff is the 85th percentile, with sectional percentiles of QA at 85, DILR at 80, and VARC at a minimum of 70.

 

For PGP-LSM, the qualifying criteria for Verbal and Reasoning are a minimum of 80 and a minimum of 60 for the 3rd section. In the final selection criteria for the PGP course, 50% is assigned to CAT, 20% to class 12, 15% to class 10. In addition, candidates can be awarded gender and academic diversity percentiles (10% + 5%) as well as points for work experience in percentiles (5%). For PGP-LSM, Academic and aptitude scores could be counted on a 100-point scale.

IIM Kozhikode Course-wise Cutoff (2025)

IIM Kozhikode PGP Admission Cutoff

The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to IIM Kozhikode's PGP course for 2025 vary by category. General category candidates should have a minimum overall CAT percentile of 85, with 75th percentile in each of the three sections, and a minimum of 60% marks in Class X and Class XII. OBC-NCL and EWS candidates must secure a minimum CAT percentile of 75 overall and 65 section-wise, with a minimum of 60% in their secondary and senior secondary exams. IIM Kozhikode PGP-Finance Admission Cutoff

Admission to the IIM Kozhikode PGP-Finance program requires General category candidates to have a minimum overall percentile of 85, sectional cutoffs of 85 for QA, 80 for DILR, and 70 for VARC. NC-OBC and EWS candidates have an overall cutoff of the 80th percentile, with 75 for QA, 70 for DILR, and 65 for VARC. SC category candidates have a comparatively lower cutoff, with an overall 70th percentile, 65th percentile for QA, and 60th percentile for both DILR and VARC. ST and PwD candidates have an overall minimum cutoff of the 65th percentile, with the 60th percentile for QA, and the 55th percentile for DILR and VARC each.

For the flagship PGP program, General category applicants must have a minimum aggregate of the 85th percentile in CAT 2024, with a minimum of the 75th percentile in each section. For the PGP-Finance program, the requirements are slightly different, with an overall 85th percentile requirement and sectional cutoffs of 85 in QA, 80 in DILR, and 70 in VARC. For the PGP-LSM program, sectional percentiles of 80 in Verbal, 80 in Reasoning, and 60 in the Other section are expected.

IIM Kozhikode Selection Criteria 2025

The selection criteria at IIM Kozhikode follow a multi-stage process. For PGP, CAT 2024 scores are the most significant, carrying 50% weight in the Stage 2 shortlisting process. This is followed by Class 12 marks (20%), Class 10 marks (15%), and either gender or academic diversity (10% or 5%), as well as work experience (5%). General and OBC/EWS candidates must have a minimum of 60% in Class 10, Class 12, and graduation. The PGP-LSM programme gives greater importance to Verbal and Reasoning scaled scores (40%). Class 10 and 12 academic scores receive 20% each, and educational and gender diversity have a weightage of 10% and 5% respectively. In the PGP final selection, the CAT 2024 Index Score and Personal Interview each account for 35%, while the Writing Ability Test (20%) and Resume Score (10%) contribute to the overall selection.
