Admission to the UG and PG programs is through the CLAT entrance exam.

NLUJAA Admission 2025

The admission process for NLUJAA primarily relies on national-level entrance examinations for its flagship programs.

  • Candidates need to first ensure that they meet the minimum academic qualifications, for the course that they wish to apply for.
  • Admission to B.A. LL.B. and LL.M. is through CLAT, while Ph.D. requires the NLUJAA Admission Test, unless exempted (in case of NET, JRF).Candidates need to apply through the CLAT Consortium portal for UG and PG programs, and directly to NLUJAA for Ph.D. program, with a research proposal.
  • After being shortlisted, B.A. LL.B. and LL.M. applicants go through CLAT counselling. While Ph.D. candidates must clear a test, interview and proposal review.
  • Seats are allotted based on merit and reservation norms.
  • Candidates are also required to submit all valid documents and certificates for verification
  • To complete the enrolment, candidates need to pay the admission fee.
