Exam Difficulty: If the exam is diificult, there is ahigh chance only a handful of candidates may meet the qualifying score, which can lower the cutoff.

Number of Available Seats: More seats could mean a lower cutoff, while fewer seats could raise the cutoff to accommodate only the most qualified candidates.

Number of Applicants: The more applicants there are, the higher the competition, which may increase the cutoff marks.
