As the JEE Main 2025 approaches, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued clear guidelines for the Dress Code for JEE Main 2025 to ensure a smooth and secure examination process. While there is no mandatory uniform, candidates must adhere to specific rules to avoid inconveniences during security checks.

JEE Main 2025 Dress Code: General Guidelines 

The dress code focuses on simplicity and comfort while avoiding items that could raise security concerns. Candidates are advised to avoid metallic objects or accessories, as these may interfere with the frisking process. Clothing should be season-appropriate and lightweight to ensure comfort during the exam. 

JEE Main 2025 Dress Code for Male Candidates

Male candidates must follow these specific instructions: 

• Avoid clothing with metallic components like buckles or embellishments. 
• Refrain from wearing caps, mufflers, or any form of head covering. 
• Choose lightweight, breathable clothes suited to the season. 
• Jewellery, such as chains, bracelets, or rings, is strictly prohibited. 
• Avoid footwear with thick soles; simple sandals or slippers are recommended.

JEE Main 2025 Dress Code for Female Candidates 

Female candidates should keep these points in mind: 

• Avoid stoles, dupattas, scarves, or any cloth that could cause delays during security checks. 
• Do not wear jewellery or metallic items, including rings, earrings, or bracelets. 
• Opt for simple, comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather. 
• Accessories like goggles or heavy adornments are not permitted.

Special Instructions for Diabetic Candidates 

Diabetic candidates may carry sugar tablets, fruits (bananas, oranges, apples), and a transparent water bottle into the examination hall. However, they will not be allowed to carry packed foods like: chocolates, candy, sandwiches, etc. They are advised to monitor their health and stay hydrated to avoid any issues during the exam. 

JEE Main 2025 Dress Code: Exam Day Tips 

Arrive at the exam center at least an hour early to complete security checks smoothly. Familiarizing yourself with the center location a day prior is highly recommended. By adhering to these guidelines, candidates can focus entirely on performing their best in the examination. Ensure you carry essential documents, including: 

• JEE Main 2025 admit card.
• A valid and original photo ID. 
• A recent passport-size photograph.
