To get admission in PGDM programs at GIBS, one has to appear for these entrance exams as 20% weightage is given to them. GIBS Bangalore Cut-Off Deciding Parameters
The cut-off is dependent on several factors. These factors are discussed below.
- Scores in entrance exams: GIBS uses the management aptitude entrance score to generate its cut-off and 20% weightage is also given while calculating the final results, hence performing well in such entrances may increase one's chances of getting selected for the PGDM course at GIBS Business School.
- Previous Academic Performance: One should get good grades in both the 10th and 12th. When GIBS generates its cut-off, some weightage is also given to the previous academic score.
- Work Experience: Candidates who have prior work experience are recommended first over those who don't.
- Performance in group discussion and personal interview: Performing well is an easier task for some while some students may find difficulty in GD and PI. So, one is always advised to prepare well for the GD and PI before they appear for it.
